The site- specific installation will consist of a spatial structure within the existing frame of architecture. The pictorial plane is converted into an "architectural" space forming a multi-layered mediator for light. The objects stretch the boundary of painting, dispensing with the picture plane and shifting the axis of attention by three-dimensional stacked sculptural volumes. An architectural sound composition by Aernoudt Jacobs will be an integral part of the installation. The catalogue features texts by João Ribas and Laurent Delaroche along with a thorough presentation of Tilman's works.
