Launch of a public work and collaboration by  Kjell Bjørgeengen and Salvatore Panatteri (Australia)

Since 2007 Kjell Bjørgeengen and Salvatore Panatteri have maintained a dialogue and collaborative experimental practice towards the notion of visual sound. The work for the Grid Gallery project will look at the nature of generative video sourced from pure audio frequencies. The resulting geometric telemetries in motion create an abstract paradigm approaching noise. This work is specifically designed with the absence of the audio source in space so as to create an open exploration of the video modality.

Grid Gallery is both a virtual and physical gallery, dedicated to exhibiting digital works,  housed at the EnergyAustralia substation, North East corner of Sussex and Erskine Steets, Sydney.
